Professor Tenge obtained both her BSN and MSN from Allen College. She has worked primarily with behavioral health patients in both inpatient and community settings. She has been blessed to work with students throughout the undergraduate curriculum. Sometimes leading lab experiences when students are learning health assessment skills and technical nursing tasks, guiding students as they interact with patients seeking mental health services, and finally as students end their journey at the college during their internship clinical experiences.

What do you enjoy most about teaching at Allen College?
I enjoy watching students grow professionally and personally as they progress through their respective programs. Students that leave our hands are skilled critical thinkers with compassion and empathy.
